English Het Symposium van The Overkill Festival Heal Royale heeft de vorm van een speels Hybride Diner. Je kan fysiek of online deelnemen of op afstand meekijken via de stream.
Met het thema Heal Royale onderzoekt The Overkill Festival de wijze waarop technologie en digitale werelden ruimte bieden voor online expressie en een gezond leven. Kunnen we in een tijd van wereldwijde crisissen, onzekerheid en een constante stroom aan informatie ruimte vinden voor individueel welbevinden? Kunnen virtuele ervaringen een verbinding maken met onze zintuigen? En welke betekenis heeft dit voor de manier waarop we digitale werelden beleven? In dit symposium laten we ons inspireren door het plezier van eten en de vele sensaties die voedsel kan bieden. We gebruiken eetrituelen om nieuwe manieren te ontdekken om met onze hybride werkelijkheid om te gaan.
Het symposium is ontwikkeld door The Overkill Festival en is in samenwerking met Tetem hybride gemaakt. Met dit experiment verkennen The Overkill en Tetem de mogelijkheden om online en on-site deelnemers met elkaar te verbinden.

Cooking show: 17.00-19.00 via livestream
Het eerste deel is een online cooking show. Terwijl de sprekers een recept koken delen ze hun onderzoek. Je kan de cooking show online volgen en meekoken of volgen via de live stream.
Hybride diner: 19.30-22.00 online + in Tankstation + via livestream
Het tweede deel is het Hybride Diner. De fysiek aanwezige dinergasten dragen zorg voor de online gasten zodat een collectieve en verbindende ervaring ontstaat. Aan elke gang wordt een vraag gekoppeld waarop de online gasten via Mentimeter kunnen reageren. Zo wordt het platform gebruikt als verbinding tussen alle deelnemers.
The Symposium of The Overkill Festival Heal Royale is a playful Hybrid Dinner. You can participate on-site or online or watch remotely via stream.
With the theme of Heal Royale, The Overkill Festival explores the ways in which technology and digital worlds provide space for online expression and healing. In a time of global crises, uncertainty and a constant stream of information, can we find space for healing? Can virtual experiences connect with our senses? And how does this influence the way we experience digital worlds? In this symposium, we are inspired by the pleasure of eating and the many sensations that food can offer. We use eating rituals to explore new ways of interacting with our hybrid reality.
The symposium is developed by The Overkill Festival and created hybrid in collaboration with Tetem. With this experiment, The Overkill and Tetem are exploring the possibilities of connecting online and on-site participants.

The first part is an online cooking show. While the speakers cook a recipe they share their research. You can follow the cooking show online and cook along or follow via the live stream.
Hybrid dinner: 7.30 – 10 pm online + at Tankstation + via livestream
The second part is the Hybrid Dinner. The on-site dinner guests take care of the online guests to create a collective and connecting experience. Linked to each course is a question to which the online guests can respond via Mentimeter. The platform is used as a connection between all participants.
