DuoDisco (hybrid) is een matchmaking-dansfeest: zoek de persoon die op hetzelfde nummer danst! Zie jij de persoon die ook op The Pointer Sisters staat te swingen? Wie danst er samen met jou de Rasputin-dans? Doe mee met de eerste hybride editie van DuoDisco – fysiek in Tetem of online – tijdens de Museumnacht Enschede op zaterdag 6 november!
DuoDisco (hybrid) is onderdeel van het design research project Hybrid Spaces van affect lab en een experiment dat hybride performances en omgevingen verkent met als doel het creëren van betekenisvolle en intieme ontmoetingen tussen fysiek en online publiek. affect lab presenteert dit jaar twee hybride experimenten met Tetem. Het eerste experiment, genaamd The Gossip, vond plaats op 11 september 2021. Het tweede experiment omvat een hybride dansspel, genaamd DuoDisco (hybrid).

Zaterdag 6 november in Tetem of online tijdens de Museumnacht Enschede:
20:30 – 21:00 ronde 1
21:30 – 22:00 ronde 2
Hoe werkt het?
Jij kiest: word onderdeel van de Tetem dansvloer in Enschede of doe online mee.
Bij Tetem: doe mee met het dansfeest door een QR-code te scannen met je smartphone. Je danst in Tetem met de andere deelnemers terwijl de online deelnemers zichtbaar zijn op een grote projectie. Een van hen danst op hetzelfde liedje. Gebruik je telefoon om je match te selecteren: als je als eerste je danspartner vindt, scoor je de meeste punten!
Online: doe mee met het dansspel door op de link te klikken die je op de dag van het evenement ontvangt. Je hebt een laptop en een browser nodig (Chrome, Safari of Edge). Je ziet de andere online deelnemers en de fysieke dansvloer in Tetem. Nu hoef je alleen nog maar je danspartner te vinden!
En de winnaar is… Aan het eind van de avond vertelt het scorebord wie de meeste punten heeft gescoord en het dansfeest heeft gewonnen. De winnaar ontvangt een speciale goodiebag.
Dresscode optioneel: glitter + disco.

DuoDisco (hybrid) is gemaakt door het team achter de dansapplicaties DuoDisco en Distance Disco (Arjan Scherpenisse, Mark Meeuwenoord, Frank Bosma & Klasien van de Zandschulp). Hybrid Spaces wordt ondersteund door het Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.

Hybrid Spaces is a design research project initiated by affect lab. The project is an experiment exploring hybrid performances and hybrid environments with the goal of creating meaningful and intimate encounters between physical and online audiences. affect lab presents two hybrid experiments with Tetem this year. The first experiment, called The Gossip, took place on 11 September 2021. The second experiment includes a hybrid dance game, called DuoDisco (hybrid).
Join DuoDisco (hybrid)
Saturday 6 November in Tetem or online during the Museum Night Enschede:
20:30 – 21:00 round 1
21:30 – 22:00 round 2
How does it work?
You choose: become part of the Tetem dance floor in Enschede or join online.
At Tetem: join the dance party by scanning a QR-code with your smartphone. You’ll be dancing in the space with the other participants while the online contestants are visible on a large projection. One of them is dancing to the same song. Use your phone to select your match: if you find your dance partner first, you’ll score the most points!
Online: join the dance game by clicking the link you will receive the day of the event. You’ll need a laptop and a browser (Chrome, Safari or Edge). You’ll see the other online contestants and the physical dance floor at Tetem. Now all you have to do is to find your dance partner!
The winner is… At the end of the evening the score board will tell us who won the dance party with the most points. The winner receives a surprise goody bag.

According to the national RIVM guidelines, the following applies to physical visit to Tetem:
For all visitors of 13 years and older: a valid coronavirus entry pass and valid ID are obligatory.
