Ton Nieuwenhuis presents his AR installation LEAFDE during the Design Meetup organized by El Niño, Digital Development agency in Enschede. Design Meetup brings together designers from different fields to share insights into their cutting-edge projects.

Where design, art, and technology intersect, Ton sees opportunities to tell stories, ask questions, and inspire action. This is evident in his Augmented Reality installation LEAFDE, where he addresses current themes such as inclusivity, the right to exist, and multiple perspectives. Ton Nieuwenhuis developed LEAFDE during a production trajectory within Cross-TIC. The installation was developed under the guidance of Tetem in collaboration with Theater Sonnevanck, University of Twente and Wageningen University & Research.
