English Model Collapse door Cyanne van den Houten en Ymer Marinus
In de meeslepende tentoonstelling Model Collapse verbeelden Cyanne van den Houten en Ymer Marinus het landschap waaruit generatieve AI voortkomt. Door relikwieën, artefacten en verhalen uit het verleden te tonen, onthullen ze de oorsprong van de extractie van de grondstoffen. Als bezoeker kom je – door het intypen van een zoekopdracht op de centrale interface – direct in contact met de cybersculpturen. Een lokaal taalmodel bepaalt je locatie binnen de digitale omgeving en de dichtstbijzijnde sculptuur ontwaakt en deelt diens kennis. De kunstenaars, die deel uitmaken van het mediakunstcollectief Telemagic, nodigen je uit om na te denken over de ethische en creatieve implicaties van generatieve technologieën.
De tentoonstelling is te bezoeken tijdens de Museumnacht tussen 19.00 en 00.00 uur.
Future Dance of Nostalgia door Kexin Hao
Future Dance of Nostalgia van Kexin Hao is een interactief dansspel. Publiek wordt uitgenodigd deel te nemen aan de choreografie welke geïnspireerd is op de bewegingen van werklieden van zware fysieke arbeid uit de pre-industriële tijd. Kexin onderzoekt of onze bewegende lichamen kunnen dienen als een levend archief. Ze legt hierbij de nadruk op de beweging van het menselijk lichaam naast machines. Met behulp van motion tracking technologie worden bewegingen gekwantificeerd en geëvalueerd. Ondertussen hoor je historische werkliederen gemengd met een moderne beat. Door interactieve gameplay slaat Future Dance of Nostalgia een brug tussen het verleden en het heden en ontstaat een leuke, gemeenschappelijke ervaring. Future Dance of Nostalgia is ontwikkeld in opdracht van iii in Den Haag.
Doe en dans mee tijdens de live uitvoering met Kexin Hao op zaterdag 2 november om 20.00 en 22.00 uur.
Het dansspel duurt ongeveer 15 minuten.
Inschrijven is niet nodig, vol = vol.
Escaperoom Robots and Codes
Het lab van Tetem is omgebouwd tot de escaperoom Robots and Codes. Met behulp van robotica en codes los je puzzels op en ga je op zoek naar een aanwijzing. Samen met jouw team doorloop je de 4 stations en werk je aansluitend aan het vinden van de code.
De escaperoom is tijdens de Museumnacht open om 19.00 en 21.30 uur.
Groepsgrootte: minimaal 2 en maximaal 6 personen.

You can also participate in the dance game Future Dance of Nostalgia or play the escaperoom Robots and Codes. There is plenty to experience and do in Tetem during Museum Night!
Model Collapse by Cyanne van den Houten and Ymer Marinus
In the immersive exhibition Model Collapse, Cyanne van den Houten and Ymer Marinus depict the landscape from which generative AI emerges. By displaying relics, artifacts and stories from the past, they reveal the origins of resource extraction. As a visitor – by typing in a query on the central interface – you come into direct contact with the cybersculptures. A local language model determines your location within the digital environment, and the nearest sculpture awakens and shares its knowledge. The artists, part of the media art collective Telemagic, invite you to consider the ethical and creative implications of generative technologies.
The exhibition can be visited during Museum Night between 7 p.m. and midnight.
Future Dance of Nostalgia by Kexin Hao
Future Dance of Nostalgia by Kexin Hao is an interactive dance game. Audiences are invited to participate in the choreography which is inspired by the movements of workmen of heavy physical labor from pre-industrial times. Kexin explores whether our moving bodies can serve as a living archive. Here she emphasizes the movement of the human body alongside machines. Using motion tracking technology, movements are quantified and evaluated. Meanwhile, you hear historical work songs mixed with a modern beat. Through interactive gameplay, Future Dance of Nostalgia bridges the past and present, creating a fun, communal experience. Future Dance of Nostalgia was commissioned by iii in The Hague.
Join us and dance during the live performance with Kexin Hao on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The dance game lasts approximately 15 minutes.
Registration is not necessary, full = full.
Escaperoom Robots and Codes
Tetem’s lab has been transformed into the escaperoom Robots and Codes. Using robotics and codes, you solve puzzles and search for a clue. Together with your team you will walk through the 4 stations and then work on finding the code.
The escaperoom is open during Museum Night at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Group size: minimum 2 and maximum 6 people.
