Het Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie presenteert tijdens de Dutch Design Week dagelijks livestreams met nieuw talent onder de titel Talent Tours. Een van de deelnemende talenten is Tereza Ruller van ontwerpersduo The Rodina.
Tereza geeft op zaterdag 24 oktober om 16:00 uur een virtuele tour over hun werk, onderzoek en installaties. Tijdens de tour neemt Tereza het publiek ook mee in de virtuele tentoonstelling Playbour City Engines die in opdracht van Tetem en met de steun van het Stimuleringsfonds is ontwikkeld.
Jaarlijks krijgen opkomende ontwerptalenten dankzij een beurs van het Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie de kans zich optimaal te ontwikkelen in artistiek en professioneel opzicht. De lichting van 2020 is in beeld gebracht in één minuut durende filmportretten. Talent Tours geeft een inkijk in de denkwijze en praktijk van 39 opkomende ontwerptalenten, talenten die zich stuk voor stuk verhouden tot actuele maatschappelijke thema’s. Wat zijn hun drijfveren, hun twijfels en ambities en welke waardes stellen zij voorop in hun werk? Door deze ontwerptalenten via een talentontwikkelingsbeurs een jaar lang de vrije ruimte te bieden om zich optimaal te ontwikkelen in artistiek en professioneel opzicht, kunnen zij voor zichzelf een betekenisvolle positie in het werkveld en de maatschappij creëren. Behalve online tijdens DDW zijn de 39 video’s te bekijken in MU Artspace en op stimuleringsfonds.nl/platformtalent.

During the Dutch Design Week, the Creative Industries Fund NL presents daily live streams with emerging design talent within the program Talent Tours. One of the participating talents is Tereza Ruller from designer duo The Rodina.
Tereza will give a virtual tour about their work, research and installations on Saturday, October 24 at 4:00 PM. During the tour, Tereza also invites the public inside the virtual exhibition Playbour City Engines, which is commissioned by Tetem and supported by the Creative Industries Fund NL.
Every year, emerging design talents are given the opportunity to develop themselves optimally in artistic and professional terms, thanks to a grant from the Creative Industries Fund NL. The 2020 crop of talents has now been visualized in one-minute film portraits. Talent Tours provides insight into the thinking and practice of 39 emerging design talents, each of whom is concerned with topical social themes. What are their motives, their doubts and ambitions, and what values do they put first in their work? By offering these design talents room for a year to focus on artistic and professional growth through a talent development grant, they can create a meaningful position for themselves in the field and society.
